McDonald's has bold plans to evolve the customer experience for the digital era, and the Global Digital team is at the center of this aggressive change.  Our team is leading the worldwide effort to develop and orchestrate digital initiatives across every facet of our interactions with customers.  This includes new brand engagement, e-commerce, service delivery, and digital content capabilities.  With the fast emerging digital environment, this team is focused on innovation across the customer journey in and outside our restaurants, identifying the most meaningful opportunities for our customers, and developing capabilities to bring them to life.  We do this in partnership and teamwork with our IT organization and markets around the world.

This team was recently formed as McDonald's hired its first Chief Digital Officer, who brings deep consumer Internet experience. McDonald's is aggressively looking to grow it's digital, web and consumer focused capability by adding top tier talent across the company and within the Global Digital team.  The team will work in an entrepreneurial and strategic way to push forward ideas, innovation, execution and culture -- all on behalf of customers.  Our current needs include seasoned digital, social media and Internet talent in functions including product management, product marketing, digital marketing, community management, business development, user experience design, and program management.

· Identify, assess and develop strategic partnerships with companies in the mobile, digital content, and technology industry. Own relationships for McDonald’s across a portfolio of partnerships.
· Manage the end to end process of partnership development by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, integrating contract requirements with business operations and setting up performance tracking capabilities.
· Work closely with a variety of cross-functional teams through all aspects of opportunity development, including: idea generation, sourcing partner targets, the business case and new product requirements, financial modeling, negotiation, and integration activities.
· Engage with prospects at very senior levels and guiding executives on both sides through both partnership vision and tactical execution.
· Define a brand new business development process across McDonald’s and implement this framework.
· Develop and implement a strategic approach for assessing and prioritizing business development projects and investment initiatives.
· Work closely with executive leadership in proactively identifying and pursuing innovative new services and product offerings that will support and enhance McDonald’s position in the marketplace.
· Leverage significant experience and network in start-ups and technology industry, as well as natural passion for emerging mobile and digital technology, to source original business development opportunities.
· Build and maintain broad-based relationships with internal and external key stakeholders as well as with industry and professional networks to facilitate business development initiatives.  
· BA required, MBA preferred
· 7+ years of business development experience within the consumer Interent, mobile or digital media spaces required 
· Demonstrable track record of developing and closing strategic deals that have made impact for organizations and achieved strong outcomes for consumers and business results.
· Aggressive, entrepreneurial, and tech-savvy self-starter with early adopter track record.  Geek credentials are vital.
· Ability to think strategically about the business development function; ability to develop frameowkr for pipleine development, funnel management, opportunity assessment, deal lifecycles and integrating partnerships into operational activties.
· Experience working with product management, engineering and marketing teams to think about relationships from the customer, operational and technology perspective.
