In this role, you will lead the efforts to commercialize F&PT’s Valve Lifecycle Management portfolio of products, which includes Valve Diagnostic software, ValvKeep Asset Management software, and proactive in field service & support strategies to support installed based by valve performance optimization and advanced outage planning.
The Sales Manager will demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. Position responsibilities will also include development and execution of the global sales orders plan, as well as working with product engineering, M&C functions and GRC to ensure fully functional design elements are incorporated in the total technical and commercial offer and compliments the Aftermarket Services and Support Strategy. You will maintain open communication with product line leaders, marketing manager and regional sales professionals to ensure interoperability and assisting in global project pursuit and key account activities through simplification, influence and differentiation will be a key requirement.In addition, you will:
  • Be responsible and lead the direct customer interface in support of GE Analytical software roll-out, projects, sales, and marketing
  • Participate in and lead development of commercial (incl. Pricing) and Technical Head-Pin strategy
  • Lead and execute the go to market strategy in close partnership with product management, marketing and communications
  • Ensure the technical competency level of the channel & direct team in each region reaches 100% compliance to a minimum technical standard
  • Organize training programs for the sales force and work with Aftermarket Leaders to ensure all channels are developing to the “Gold Standard”
  • Develop training material & organize regional sessions for the Global Sales and Comm-Ops orgs to support the minimum technical competency requirements
  • Develop sales growth plans for each region, and work with the local teams to develop strategies for each key customer account with a particular focus on the strategic view of the business
  • Develop customer relationships and support assigned programs and clients
  • Participate in establishing business strategy by providing the company’s perspective
  • Provide technical support for application and installation proposal efforts
  • Provide on-site intelligence and communications on marketing opportunities
  • Direct global sales efforts
  • Participate in developing total quality management initiatives as they relate to company requirements and customer satisfaction
  • Respond to special client requirements
  • Establish and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with all levels of the company’s organization
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Program Management, or Customer Support
